At the Berggasthaus Prodalp

Another photo from Berggasthaus Prodalp. Not particularly exciting. That’s my snowboard in the foreground. It’s actually not my snowboard. It’s Alain’s and I have to give it back.

It’s a Burton Rippey board, and being the inquisitive person I am, I’ve searched to the ends of the google but I can’t find out how old it is or anything else about it, except that Burton made the Rippey (named after Jim Rippey) from 1996 through to 2002. Alain’s board appears to be a 1997 model. It’s an all-mountain board, 1540mm long, with directional shape/core for ollie power and float. It’s of one-piece Super Fly Core construction with 38% lighter Super Fly Core. It’s also got Super Fly in the tips and a 2000-grade UHMW sintered base.

Check out the Burton Wiki if you want to know more. I know you do.
As you can tell, I only just discovered it myself, half-way through writing the paragraph above.
