It is so encouraging to know that there is not only greed and mistrust in this world. Such a story should appear on the front page of the newspaper… I had a similar, but less spectacular experience in the elevator of the nursing home next door. I was on my way down to get a cup of coffee for my mother-in-law and myself and was counting the handful of coins which I had put in my pocket – just in case. I said – more to myself: “Oh I think I’m going to be a bit short”. A lady who was in the elevator with me got out her purse and gave me Fr. 5.-, just like that. She insisted that she didn’t want it back…
